Visit Busan Day Pass Tour with Friends

Back in 2022, I met some amazing solo travelers in Korea and this year, we finally reunited for a fun Busan day trip together! One of the days, we took a day tour in Busan, and thanks to Visit Busan Pass, our trip was made more convenient, budget-friendly, and of course, fun.

What is the Visit Busan Pass?
The Visit Busan Pass is a tourist pass that allows access to various attractions in Busan either for free or with a discount. About 39 free and 171 discounted attractions (as of this writing). There are four kinds, including 24-hour, 48-hour, Big 3, and Big 5 passes, so you can choose one that suits your travel style.

We chose the 24-hour pass, and with it, we were able to visit the various places for free.

You can check more details at their site: Visit Busan Pass

How to use it?

If you are purchasing the physical card pass, first exchange your purchased pass at the Tourist Information Center. There are different centers where you can have it exchanged, just check the website for the locations. The pass is activated from the time you first enter an attraction.

Places we visited with the Visit Busan Pass

We planned ahead to determine which activities to do, so we can make the most of the pass within the number of hours we have. Also consider the travel time between these locations.

Songdo Cable Car/Busan Air Cruise Crystal Cabin

Location: Songdo Bay Station at Songnim Park (near Songdo Beach / Songdo Cloud Trails)
171 | 171, Songdohaebyeon-ro, Seo-gu, Busan

From Busan Station, we took Bus #26 to Amnamdong Community Service Center, then walked to Songdo Bay Station. Then, we headed to 4F, where the platform for the cable car is located. We rode the Crystal Cabin and it’s for a round trip. It costs KRW22,000 to ride the crystal cabin cable car but it’s free with the Visit Busan Pass.

Songdo Sky Park

After a 15-minute cable car ride, we got off at Songdo Sky Park Station. It is a park in Amnam Park. Here you can enjoy taking photos of the different photo zones like this moon and heart, chill at some benches, dine at the food hall, or explore the Amnam Park.

Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge

Also in Amnam Park is the Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge. You need to pay here to enter this 127.1m long and 2m wide bridge that connects Amnam Park across the sea to the small island, Dongseom Island. But the admission fee is free with the Visit Busan Pass.

Skyline Luge Busan (2 rides)

60-1 | San 60-1 , Sirang-ri, Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan

Skyline Luge Busan is located in the Osaria theme park and is just walking distance to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. You have an option to take the bus or the subway to get to the park. 2 Luge Ride Combo, which is what’s included in the Visit Busan Pass for free, costs KRW30,000.

You need to go to the ticketing booth to exchange the pass for tickets, then get and wear your helmets. You will have to ride the Skyrides (cable car), which will take you uphill to the Luge Station. There are different Luge Tracks to choose from. Also, take note that you are not allowed to hold anything other than the cart handle.

You can also see Lotte World Adventure Busan from the skyrides. It is also included in the Visit Busan Pass and we initially planned on going the next day before the pass expired, but we have no enough time. So maybe next time!:)

Haeundae Blueline Park (All Stop)

With the All Stop pass for Haeundae Beach Train, you can go to all 7 stations, but you cannot board the same station twice. You can either start/end at Mipo Station or Songjeong Station. All Stop costs KRW16,000 but it’s covered free by the Visit Busan Pass.

Since we had limited time, we hopped on at Songjeong Station and hopped off at Mipo Station. We didn’t visit the other stations. Though I was able to do it during my solo travel in 2023.

From Mipo Station, you can walk to Busan X the Sky It is an observatory located on the  98th, 99th, and 100th floors of Haeundae LCT The Sharp – Landmark Tower in Haeundae, Busan.

We were not able to visit this time, but we also went together in 2022. It was where we watched the beautiful sunset along Haeundae Beach and Gwangan Bridge. There is a Shocking Bridge where you can look down directly Haeundae Beach through the glass floors. The Highest Starbucks in the World is located at the 99th floor.

Busan Yacht Sunset Cruise

Location: 84, Haeundaehaebyeon-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, Korea
In front of Gate 1, Yacht Stadium

This is also covered by the pass for free, but since we chose to take the Sunset Cruise, we added KRW5,000 each. It is so worth it. The cruise started at Haeundae, and then we were brought to Gwangan Bridge as the sun slowly set. There was a fireworks display, a free drink, and a beautiful photo of us was given as we headed back to Haeundae.

I really loved this experience, especially because I love sunsets a lot. It was just a chill one-hour ride with good music a stunning view, with friends and other guests who were all enjoying the moment.

Shinsegae Centum City Spa Land

This was the most shocking experience for me since it’s my first time, but very relaxing and refreshing that I want to do it again next time.

Our last stop for our tour is Spa Land. There are many rooms and activities you can do when in Spa Land. A lot of them are covered by the fee, which is about KRW17,000-KRW20,000. Some areas are not free, like the Arcade Zone, Massage, and Food Hall. You will be given a key that you can use for your lockers, to enter and exit, and to pay for what you will purchase inside. Then you need to settle your bill when you leave Spa Land. You will also be provided with a pair of clothes to wear while inside the premises. In a lot of areas, you can bring your phone and take photos/videos. However, when you are inside the Changing/Locker Rooms (separated by gender) and in the sauna, you are not allowed to bring your phone.

You can stay as long as you want and enjoy the different rooms from the coldest to the hottest. They will notify you when they’re closing.

We highly recommend the Visit Busan Pass! 💯

Using the pass made it much easier to get around and helped us save a lot of money. Most of all, we got to enjoy many attractions without worrying about the cost, so we had an incredibly fun day with friends.

If you’re planning a trip to Busan, definitely consider getting the Visit Busan Pass! ☺️

We purchased ours from Klook.
